Using free blogging platforms like blogger by Google, gives me a free opportunity to earn extra income online. I don't earn hundreds of thousands of dollars from content writing but I do earn a modest amount of extra income each month.
I've been writing online for years and made many mistakes but making the mistakes taught me how to turn blogs into daily residual income earners.
I don't only use blog platforms to write content, I also build free websites to write content. One example is this website. Wix lets creators use the platform to build freebie websites. Why? Because Wix knows that a percentage of people who use their free service will eventually pay for a prime membership. Wix knows free members sooner or later buy a Domain name and will use their website service. It's good business for the user and for Wix.
Blog and Website Developing Procedure
When I decide on a topic to write about, I do a keyword word/phrase search in the Bing and Google search engines. Why? Because it tells me how many search results the word/phrase receives. If I find a keyword or phrase that receives search results in the millions, that tells me that the subject is popular and in demand. I want to choose a title that will grab the attention of the person doing the search.
Of course the blog/website title is very important, I do a keyword word/phrase search for each blog/website page. Individual pages get indexed into the search engines too. I treat each blog/website page just like the home page. I choose a title, included a page description, submit keywords, and manually submit the pages into the search engines. You can receive a lot of organic traffic from blog/website pages. Not all visitors find your blog/website through only its home page.

I created this free website using the Wix website builder. You can do a lot using free resources available on the web. In reality owning a Domain name is not necessary to succeed online. However, if you plan on building a website and plan on running the website for many years, I feel owning at least one Domain name is a good idea.
